Absolutely. Part of the job description.

Poet, what do you think about Veny's hunch on Byrd...think he was right or wrong :dunno:

Jaydan, I really believe he's the dark horse of the group. He's extremely intelligent. He gets it. He's got the size, he's got really good quickness. The other guys would probably beat him in a leg race, but he would probably beat them in a change of direction and quickness competition. We'll find out soon, but that's what my guess is.

Guys, why would Jaydan transfer to another Big XII school? He'd lose a year of eligibility.

Now, Arthur in Bryce......IN PLAY!!!! :excited:

That still costs you a year of eligibility.  It's very strict in-conference.

Luke Axdell (UT to KU in MBB) was the last one of any note that I can remember who did this.  The conference lifted the rule for the Baylor basketball players who transferred after the Bliss deal.

Axtell didn't have to sit out the two years.  He transferred because Penders released his grades to the radio station.  Dodds petitioned the B12 to waive the rule because of Penders being a dumbass.

No one ever has to sit out two years...you just have to sit out one year, but you LOSE a fully year of eligibility.   Luke played his first year at UT, sat out at KU the next year, then played the next two years at KU.

He had a "senior night" that second year at KU, but they also mentioned that injuries cut his career short.  In either case, the "RULE" is that if you transfer to another school in the conference you have to sit just one year (like normal) but you lose a year of elig.

and although you said it did, it didn't cost him a year of eligibility

I just got an email that says that a dude just posted on another site that he has an "A++++++" source that the Brown brothers are coming.  Same guy who sent me the email said that another site's writers are trying to confirm but are saying that they have heard grumblerumbles about this as well....

....this is all HUGE news, like last rough ridin' week on this board.   :jerk:

Still won't believe it until I see them with their first EMAW tattoos....I've been hurt before.  :ohno:

Rumors are fun. But it always seem we end up on short end of the stick on most of the rumors.

So I'm going to try and stay  about this one until it's official.

With that said. Welcome home Arthur and Bryce.
