Wasn't part of the Gonzalez deal that it was pretty obvious the Chiefs where going to suck for the next few years and he wanted to have a chance to play for a Superbowl before he retired?

Yeah, Gonzalez wanted out, and teams never get good trade value in that situation.

Yeah, Gonzalez wanted out, and teams never get good trade value in that situation.

Well a 2nd rounder was decent value just didn't make very good pick with it

If LHC Bill Snyder gave the pros a whirl, he probably would consistently take teams with 8-9 UDFA starters to the second and third round of the playoffs.
