Prime opportunity to bring in a top level coach and GM to get the regime running "their way" given the draft status.  Sadly, Hunt is going to eff it up by keeping Pioli which will prevent any decent coach from wanting to come to KC.

The only thing I can think of is that Pioli is stay on is that either Hunt does not give a crap, or the coach he wants can't come on in time to make that 1st round pick worth a damn so keeping Pioli on until after the draft?

I am hoping that the coach that they bring in is such a huge swinging dick that he will end up picking his own player personnel guy (not really a GM), and at that point Piloli will be let go.  OR, Piloli will be similarly made subordinate to the new head coach.

Maybe the guy he wants to bring in (better be a damn good coach) like Pioli or want the pleasure of firing him himself (Cower)?

Yea this is why I really want Cowher.  He would flop his giant dick right on Clark's desk and demand GM power as well.  Would be great.

If Pioli is out, I will retain hope.  If Pioli stays, it will be a giant bucket of crap on our faces.

Last time clark took too long hiring pioli and refused to address coach until he had gm. Then hired gm and gm mumped it up from there partly due to late timing created by clark.

Hopefully he learned his lesson, but he owns a kc sports franchise so I doubt that.

Outside of a QB and refreshed O-Line, we should have to do none of this.

If Chiefs are still running 3-4, they need a MLB.  Could draft a WR late and be fine.

The team is going to have to be built with Great D and system O to score enough to win games.  No Lucks coming out of the draft for a few years.  Grab Alex Smith or Cousins and then draft a QB in early 2nd round.

The team is already loaded with talent (and young).  I've never seen an offensive coordinator suck so bad in my life like Gable (sp) did this year.  Crennel's 28-55 NFL record is enough to say his head coaching days are done.

I'm telling you guys, don't get your hopes up.  Retread coach, 1st overall some O lineman, Alex Smith at Quarterback, Pioli gets personal control.

What do you think you'd have to give up for Cousins?

Quote from: some idiot I know on facebook
I vote for Andy Reid or Jon Gruden for HC. And Lovie Smith as defensive coordinator.

This is followed by a half dozen other idiots agreeing with the comment. It's as if the Chiefs didn't finish 2-14 and lose by 5 touchdowns yesterday. Chiefs fans think they have some sort of birthright to a good football team. Or they are all high on meth.
