You guys are acting like the Chiefs will know what to do with their first pick. I guarantee they get someone like Matt Kalil if they manage to get the first pick.

Nope, Pioli will trade it for two seconds and a third to Indy, or someone else who's QB world has been turn on it's fat face.

This. I really don't get why everyone thinks the Chiefs would actually draft Luck. Cassel was Pioli's guy. He was the first guy he went out and got and gave big bucks to. If he dumps him and drafts a new QB that makes it look like he made a big mistake from day 1.

They are just going to draft like they have the last 3 years to build around Cassel and explain the down year away with all the injuries.

Very  at thinking they are going to pick a QB anywhere high in the draft.

We need to find a way to guarantee a loss to the Vikings.
Where did you get that overnight bag?

Was kidding.  I actually think it to be far worse to be known as the guy that passed up on such a pick than to be known as a guy whose earlier QB failed.

Pioli is def not stupid.  I get his ego is huge, but survival trumps stubborn in smart people.

I don't know, I think his ego is too big. I mean this is the guy who thinks he created the Patriots. And is supposedly recreating the "Patriot Way" here. The Patriot Way doesn't include drafting a high ranking QB high in the draft.

Great half. Defense looks good, offense looks good enough.

Just need a Turner-esque halftime speech to keep 'em motivated

I was going to pick Chiefs at home over Miami in my survivor league for next week, but isn't there a lower winning % for teams the week after they play MNF?

Is everybody of the belief that the ruling that Cassel's arm was not moving forward is correct? After they overturned the call the announcers agreed and the Sportscenter crew after the game thought it was the right call. You can CLEARLY see his arm moving forward AND his arm was hit backwards yet the ball went forwards a good distance. It defies physics to say his arm wasn't moving forward. I just don't get it, but maybe I don't get the rule.

Look at you and your 4 game winning streak.  The AFC west has become a cripple fight.
