Is he calling that part of Kansas City a crap hole? I do. I just wonder if he is too.

He is, but one difference between you and him is that you're not saying that while simultaneously asking for one billion dollars to dump into that crap hole

This might be the worst time/situation in history for a small market city to stand up to an nfl owner

i’m not a missouri voter but I would not care less if the chiefs decided to leave town because voters wouldn’t approve a thirty year tax that was put in place to build a giant dance floor in independence and a bridge to nowhere.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Tailgating is cool, but not enough to justify DUI.

It's a cheap renovation by a cheap owner, with the taxpayers picking up over half the bill.

The Royals is far more impressive and once its done and if other downtown improvements happen it's going to be awesome.

Once the Royals are complete they'll only be 3 or 4 MLB stadiums left in the middle of huge parking lots and 2 or 3 of those teams want new stadiums.

There's what? 7-11 chiefs games, maybe 5 concerts, and possibly a college game/futbol exhibition in the average year? 20 dates is probably generous. I'm glad the chiefs recognize how useless building an entertainment district would be. Maybe an attached hotel could pull enough.

Adding MORE parking and the cheapest of basic updates to the actual stadium is fantastically lol though

It's all quite a quaint concept. W/e, Chiefs.

It would be great if they put a hotel there.  I would stay there for every game I went to.  But would anyone want to stay there in the offseason?

Chiefs rated #31 by nflpa. The players say Clark is cheap af

Maybe other owners should take notes

Hotels have tried there and failed with both the Arrowhead and Kaufman bringing events.  There are ways to improve that by offering more/better meeting space but I think it's a challenge with, as was mentioned, about 20 reliable draw dates a year.

Clark is cheap.  Treats the Salary cap as the team's budget.

He's also a giant chud, and I'm sure the players know that

Cire, a guy like yourself calling the owner of this incredibly successful franchise a chud doesn’t sit right with me. Put some respect on his name.

let’s be honest here folks.  you would never go to the tailgate pavilion, so how great is it?

The #1 team in the nflpa survey hasn’t won a playoff game since 2000
The #2 team has never won a superbowl

I for sure will never see it in person but I think it's the perfect amenity for a low use location. Line it up with food trucks and mobile bars.

Also probably provides more off season space for smaller events. Like maybe a summer festival or farmers market, who knows. Maybe steal the American royal, I don't remember where that's held now.

They are literally building a dedicated facility west of the speedway to house the Royal.

It would be wild if we drafted the Tech DB who doesn't believe in space or planets.

Someone texted me about this earlier. I don’t understand how some of these people have survived this long in life.

Like, maybe possibly thinking this is really really stupid, but saying this to a team that you want to pay you millions of dollars is on a whole other level of stupid.
