My guess is that the Hunts don’t really care about hosting a super very much relative to their desire to be able have more revenue streams and more premium price increases.

We might get a Final 4 with a roof, 2038 will be the 50th anniversary from the last one in kc

Super Bowl should not be north of Dallas.

I disagree. It's quite close to DFW, and there are plenty of hotels and a huge entertainment district right there. It's tailor-made for big events. Have you been there lately?

I don't think so, no. You can get kind of close by connecting with a different rail system, but it would be much, much easier to drive down I-30.

I was just (correctly) assuming that most people attending the SB would be flying into DFW then renting a car or grabbing a ride share for a breezy 15 minute drive to the Jerry World complex. It's not like it would be mostly or even noticeably Dallas people (unless the Cowboys were in it. So, no).

I'm thinking about what you mean by "without a car". That was my exact scenario. Fly in, take a 15-minute Uber to your hotel in the Jerry World complex, and walk to the game. When not at the Super Bowl, enjoy the Texas Live district, which is also right there and walkable. I'm also thinking about recent Super Bowl sites, and I'm scratching my head to understand your meaning.
