I like and hate, Mitch. He’s an all timer, but asked for $200 to come speak to the K-State student station, where he got his start for free. I thought that was a crap move, but whatever. He’s corny fun.

$200 sounds like an incredibly reasonable price for an NFL play by play person to come speak when he has a 4 hour round trip to do so.

I like Mitch in small doses, I don't think I could handle listening to him for an entire game tho.

His gimmickry has gotten so out of hand that it’s just funny now, but if you can get past that, he is IRL the BITB.

I only hear him in clips and I always wonder if he has an analyst or if he has a solo booth.

I think a lot of that was having the carry the load for so long with Len Dawson as Len's mind started to go. I think he's gotten used to having be "both" people.

FTR I know they have another new guy, and he's fairly good, but I think they are both trying to figure it out given the new guy is able to form coherent sentences.

Total side but OT for the liking Mitch or not, I like him, he's able to get excitable kinda like Gus, but Gus is BITB at that. Mitch's more mundane calls are solid, I don't find him that hard to listen to, though the TOUCHDOWN! KAN-SAS CITY is sometimes a bit over the top, but w/e, it's his thing.

When the chefs were 3-4 I was never really worried, still knew we would make the playoffs and be the favorite to win the AFC. I definitely did not expect us to be in control of the #1 seed 11 weeks later.

Yes, esp because our losses came against the other "top" AFC teams.  I think we can beat any of the AFC at this point, but def don't want to see the Colts in the playoffs.

Agreed.  Chargers are scarier than Bills to me, but I don't want a piece of either of them.

Being unvaxxed at this point, especially when you’re on an NFL team, is the ultimate selfish move. I looked the other way on his gross politics because his nickname is funny and because he is good under pressure for the team I like, but yeah. Can his ass. Dude is not a team player.

What's his nickname? I've always called him "Butker the Kutker" in my head, for some reason.
