I yelled "Release The Manager" like, you know, they did with that monster thing in Pirates of the Carribian.

But alas, to no avail, the best The Manager could do was a few worm burners and flailing attempts to direct the Chiefs down to a game winning score.

Such is life in football with . . . The Manager!

Props to Andy Reid for doing a great job of covering up for his QB. I will say this, The Manager does a great job of calling the plays in the huddle and getting everybody lined up right.

12 pack of some micro brew seasonal winter ale would sure hit the spot. I'm not 100% certain what was gained by signing Smith to a contract before the season. Were they concerned his value might increase? I don't think its going to increase but hey thats just me (and dax and j-dub and Carnes and AJ and all non-WC08s)

Everyone - I was way more upset at the Chiefs loss than I was about the Cats victory. What does that say about me?

this was not planned....
bye week for my real qb, foles got hurt so I was scrambling (this is a 2 qb league). I have had three qbs go down this year on me so I had to get scraps. I am still doing OK and will make the playoffs.
