I'm not going to go back and see if this is posted already.

On the Le Batard show they pull out weird stats, and their weird stat on a show last week was that in the last 20 drop back passes for the Chiefs on 3rd down, they've resulted in a negative 19 yards.

Didn't watch game (because I'm not an idiot) but a quick glance at the box score shows that Jamaal Charles only got 10 carries and averaged 9 yards but Alex Smith threw 39 passes. That's a misprint right?

the game was a shootout, andy had to throw it to keep up with arizona's offense. cut him some slack.

Its not hard to be better than a coach who lets Alex Smith throw 39 passes (in a 1 score game) and gives Jamaal 10 carries.

Clock management was simply off the hook. Smith is going to be blitzed until he actually shows that he and the offense can make teams pay . . . they won't make them pay.
