Talib's contract is probably terrible. They signed him to a long deal to get him even though he will have little value in the last few years and maybe in the first few. Even if he stays out of trouble, he has been really injury prone. He played well but his sample size is really small.
Would've liked the Chiefs to make a move or two by now but at least they haven't given out any terrible deals that handicap them for the future. At this point, they have to be planning on trading down in the draft and all their picks will be used to plug gaping holes rather than really upgrading at any position. I don't know how great the OL prospects are in the draft but a lot of teams look to be picking skill position players so maybe some value will fall to end of the first/early second.
