The argument has never been if Peters caused headaches to the team or coaches or ownership. Of course he did, and some of that being disciplined is completely fair. The issue is that they are making the team worse, and his play on the field was so good that it was completely worth the rest. The issue, for those of us against the trade, is that football didn't seem to be a consideration.
And lumping in this move with DJamer, Tamba, Parker, or Alex Smith is just nuts. Those were football decisions, just like Jamaal or Maclin last year.
