that site runs soooooo slow on my work comp, which is when i do the majority of my bbsn. it's so bad i can't go there and harass them. it times out. i forget about it at night when my bbs moments are uber valuable.

Actually, that board gives me pause to wonder how successful a rebel KUBBS would be. All they do is sit around like Beavis and Butthead laughing at EDFs picture and posting boobs. Its not like they are separating for real reasons like ksufans and then go emaw did. I know a couple of people who have expressed interest in helping, I just need to gauge how real it is.

i think it just takes a while to build up. phog has been around forever and people are used to it over there, they slowly will get used to your new site. as k-state fans, we had nothing so it was really easy to create something.

I think you have to give it the 6-month test to see if things get going or people lose interest. So far it seems that things are picking up over there, which is nice. Tom is such a nazi.

The site is extremely slow. There isn't much traffic yet. The posters comparison to beavis & butthead is spot on. They just can't break free from the ways of the phog posting styles, typical topics, etc., also they still have a hard time going against the company line.

I still think that in time it has the chance to be a decent bbs, they really need to get the lagtime worked out though.

I made a pretty snide remark about Huldon Tharp to gauge reaction, and I think it was what I was hoping for, a bit of name-calling, some dismissal of my post as not worth reading, mega negative reputation points, but no threat of banning.
