you can still smoke in cigar bars, i think theres one on 13th and tyler in wichita called the humidor.

There are a few cigar shops in KC that are legit to smoke at.  Thing is you have to buy one there and smoke it.  Can't bring your own (which is understandable).  I think the one on Metcalf and 151st-ish is BYOB.  They provide mixers.

The (west side) Humidor is at 21st and Tyler but it's not a bar.  They do tend to have "private parties" where the have a free keg of beer or something but no liquor by the drink or anything like that.

Nice thread, never noticed this one.

I smoke one or two cigars a week, not regularly, but am learning a lot about them and enjoying it.

Will post in here from now on.

Quality will drop within six months as they try to ramp production. Goodbye flavor.

makes my mouth taste like butthole especially the next day. probably one of the reasons smokers usually gain weight when they stop smoking

I like Cuban cigars.  I also like the cheap Arturo fuente.

Agree that quality will suffer

I like some Padron best. No idea which one but I can show you where it is in the Hy-Vee humidor and it only costs $11. Have had cuban cohibas and some other ones and can't tell the difference.

I think part of the smoothness of Cubans is that you are smoking something that wasn't legal

My main problem with cigars is the time commitment.  "Hey, want to hang out on the patio door 45 minutes?" Ain't nobody got time for that

did you guys know that some people will hollow the tobacco out of the cigar and then fill it back up with indica strain marijuana?  it's called a blunt.

i used to remove the tobacco from black and milds, remove the glued paper insert, and then refill it with said tobacco.  i believe the youths now call it "hyping"

Kids these days are removing the B&M tobacco and bonging it into their butts.
