We were an NIT team last year. What's the point of this thread?

The Octagon of Doom is obviously the best homecourt advantage in the country.

Kougs I know it's hard for you . . . but 2 of those 5 losses have come  . . . this year.

I would also like to know the point of the thread.  Are you wanting us to cheer louder?  Or fire a coach? Or are you just trying to be a huge whiny bitch?

if you want to talk about this year, leave last year out of it, otherwise compare the stats for both years.

mike evans was such a senior leader that his senior year ('77-78) he allowed 2 home court losses in....Ahearn.  Remember how tough it was to play in Ahearn?  How could such a player let that happen.  And a legendary coach like Hartman?  JFC.

Cornell is getting votes, but KU got bailed out on the game by the refs in the last minute. Fact.

Haven't listened to Keitz in 2 weeks.

Don't care about 77-78 . . . except for the fact that K-State won the conference that year, the last time.

goEMAW . . . very powerespect like these days.

Sad . . .

couple of things, we didn't win it in '77-78, we won it the year before.  And after the atrocity that is losing two f'ing home games in one year in '77-78, we lost another 2 the following year in '78-79....then in '79-80 we lost 3 home games....and that sh*tty coach that let that happen and those sh*tty players that let that happen, then went to the Elite 8 in '80-81.  You f'ing clown, stfu.

Not saying they suck...Saying KU has way too much talent to have a "close game" with them at home

Zacker letting his strawman pump his a$$ as per usual.

Plus, I'd just ask . . . what part of my posts  gives even the slightest hint that I am comparing arenas or eras of anything of the sort??

This should be fascinating.

What are you trying to do then?  You never explained what the point of this thread was.

Are you just trolling? If so it's working... but I don't know why you'd do that to fellow Cat fans?

Ever since Jake started doing well again/Jake shattered your talking point, it seems like your posts have sucked more and more.

K-State's record at home in last 12 conference home games.

:flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush: :flush:

Pretty arbitrary number no?  Is there something special about the last 12 that they should be separated from all of the conference home games in Frank martin's tenure?  He is 13-6 his first 2.5 years, with 3 of those losses coming to top 15 teams.  I will go ahead and play with numbers like you and your boy Kietz did and project the last 4 conference home lay-ups as wins, that will make Frank 17-6 his first 3 years.  Please find for me 5 coaches anywhere that has a better record their first 3 years as a head coach.  Hell I'll even let you find 5 coaches with a better home conference record the first 3 years at their current school.  Few, Self, Williams, maybe Dixon and Howland, anyone else?

Record has much less to do with record/win streaks, than does quality of team.

The fans/atmosphere definitely were NOT the reason for home losses.

Whoa, really? First, if you wanted to talk about this year, why include last year's losses?

Secondly, one of the two losses this year was to the #1 team in the country, in OT. Ooo, ouch, we suck. We're a mere 1-1 at home against #1 teams.

So really, your point is that our loss to OSU at home was a bad one. Halle-fracking-lujah, what would we do without you around here to drop such insightful nuggets?!

I talked about Jake for like . . . 2 games.   But lets revise history right . . . and completely forget that when I was talking about Jake, he was playing like $hit.

Plus even the franking tards on KMAN right now are talking about how Clemente is hurting more than he's helping, even, amazingly enough recognizing that his defense blows.

The point of this thread is . .  . we're $hitting all over our home court, and I thought under this current regime we'd be putting an end to that.   I guess not.

Let's see the last 12 CONFERENCE games, so let's review .  . . if you count last years conference home games, and this years conference home games to date . . . that equals . . . 12.  Yep, how completely f'ing random.   Fail Rain . . . Fail on every level.

Do you miss Ben or something? You do know he posts here too right?
