For regular use.

 For nightlife some darker jeans with a different cuff because I have to cut 501's a bit and that doesn't fly when "dressing nicer."  Don't really like "dress denim" I prefer chinos.

Also, you gotta be in decent shape to pull off 501's.  I'm too fat for them now.  So I have to wear shitty jeans.

for everyday casual i wear some old Old Navy from before they mumped up the cuts making everything low rise and AE for more trendy styles.

If I want to look nice, I don't wear jeans. I just buy jeans for work around the house/outdoors. Skinny jeans are not good for this.
