•The absence of former school president Jon Wefald's signature on the memorandum.

•The timing of execution on the regular contract and the memorandum. K-State argued that the contract supersedes all previous arrangements, and since the memorandum was signed hours before the contract, it voids the memorandum.

•Prince provided no consideration for the memorandum.

Dear K-State,

Your motion is a POS.

Sincerely,
steve dave, Esq.

It was a contract between Prince and K-State's Intercollegiate Athletic Corporation, not the school. With former athletic director Bob Krause, who was president and CEO of the IAC, signing the contract, it did not need Wefald's approval.

If Prince's stance is the the IAC has to pay him, could the IAC just empty the bank account, like say by investing in Bob Krause, LLC, who would then use the $ to donate to KSU facilities (BB practice facility, limestone wall, Towers of Tim, etc) and then the IAC could file for Chapter 11?

Doubt if a bankruptcy judge would look kindly on that.

no, in general people are Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!), but those in charge usually aren't.

I believe that the Intercollegiate Athletic Council of Kansas State University Inc.  has been dissolved.    The corporation that governs K-State Athletics is simply K-State Athletics Inc.

an "accident" would be cheaper.

just saying.

And if the "accident" occurred while carrying out something "bold and daring" it would be utterly plausible.

No, it does increase the likelihood of settlement in the near future, imo.

All that means is nobody's case was good enough to win w/o a trial.

I don't understand why they can't just go to arbitration.  (probably because Krause was a huge Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!)/in on the scam)  This is just Ronnie's way of wasting more Kansan taxpayer dollars.

Simply more proof that the they ran the school like their own personal Fiefdom.

But honestly . . . it just goes to show you what a bunch of simple minded dolts they really were.

That being said, I think Krause is completely flying air cover for Weefer, and there's still certain parts of Bob Krause's style I'd like to have at K-State athletics . . . I still stand by my "people buried in shallow graves in order to get things done" comments about BK from threads gone by.

Dax, you think they will ever name a building after WEEF?
