So I saw Tool a couple nights ago. A little better than I thought it would be. The drummer is really good, despite him being a satanist KU fan. Red Rocks was amazing.

So, this Das Racist mixtape is pretty damn good.  It's goofy, but hard not to enjoy.

If you download it, there's a playlist.

Yeah, the new Menomena is great. They're at the Bottleneck in October, and put on a fantastic show.

Bigcat and I spun Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs by Marty Robbins a couple of nights ago with our bellies full of rum. It was highly nostalgic and unbelievably epic. Anybody who's done any living in Kansas needs to get drunk and do this ASAP!

I've only heard a bit, will report back when I've had a chance to go all the way thru.

The Hood Internet has put out a couple damn good mixtapes for free.  Basically some rap with mellower music underneath, good summer stuff.

I'm worried I'll act like a little girl in the 60's when he comes on stage.

if power is any indication of the new Kanye album, he will be fantastic once again. 808 kinda sucked.

sounds awesome.  If you like that, I highly recommend this:

Slightly different, but awesome.  Features Johnny Western of KFDI fame.
