I am reading Mo Meta Blues.  Pretty good book so far.  Nothing terribly shocking yet but Questlove had an interesting life growing up and reading about the artists that all came up together (Common, Fugees, D'Angelo, Jill Scott, Mos, J Dilla, etc) is pretty fun.  So far its been about half memoir and half breaking down 70s/80s soul records and 90s hip-hop.

The Yawpers will be at Aggie Central Station tomorrow night. Probably the best show I've seen put on by a "local" band.

Oh wow, big surprise here folks. All 3 of this board's Tool defenders are now laughing at mocat's sick burn. But if you listen closely, as I'm sure you all will since goEMAW is full of the most intelligent and most observant posters in the nation, that's not normal laughter. That's nervous laughter. They know Tool as been exposed, and they aren't quite ready to deal with reality yet. Don't worry fellow IRL friends, they'll get there eventually.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Wow, Tool defenders are so desperate that they are literally making things up. It's like watching Beems get destroyed. Sad, really.
