yeah I just don't think he's that good of a singer and it really holds him back.

I saw him like three years ago and thought it was just ok but someone whose opinion I respect saw him this year and said it was the best show ever. So go for sure when he comes to Omaha.

easy mocat, I was partying my face off.

Went to Kelly Stoltz and Sarah Bethe Nelson last night. Ran into a guy I knew who introduced me to his friends (who were a cross-section of the crowd) that were kind of a sad collection of aging SF mediocre artist types that are mostly experts in working rent control and staying in the city. How do I know they're mediocre artists? they've all been in SF for 10+ years and have never done anything I've heard of. Kelly and Sarah Bethe were pretty cool though. I'd heard of them.

As long as they continue to operate a venue of equal or greater capacity it'll be ok. Just hope they find a good space
