i can't believe i lived in the austin metro so long and never found out about these guys

I prefer the more straight ahead Black Joe Louis and the Honeybears for my Austin based throwback funk needs.  But, yeah, they're cool.

Seen them live. Incredible band

when I saw the description and heard the intro, I thought it would be lame.  But it isn't.  It's fantastic.

Wow. This is really good.

I have no idea if this will get shunned in this thread or not, but I saw these guys live opening for another band and they were awesome. Just thought I would share.

OT: we will have a Pandora station playing through the stereo throughout our house and we will decide to go outside for awhile to check out the neighbors new car or kick around the garden or whatever and mrs. dave will make me pause pandora.  The first time she did I asked her if she liked the song that was playing and she said no.  I was dumbfounded and tried to explain what was going on but she wanted nothing of it.  So, now when we walk outside for a bit we pause the pandora feed at our house.  The TV will stay on and the stereo itself will but if she's out of earshot of the stereo she's not going to miss anything.

Sam Adams just got arrested in the middle of his concert at Lambda Chi co sponsored with Beta tonight. Ouch

allegedly smoking a joint on stage while playing and the cops were responding to a noise complaint.  Was anyone on here there?

I've just recently been getting into Cut Copy.  Both "Bright Like Neon Love" and "In Ghost Colours" are great.  I highly recommend it for those of you that enjoy some funky electro-pop from time to time.

This song's a few years old, but I just discovered it yesterday and it's by an unknown rapper so I figured I'd post it. This song is for people who like DoD/OB style music that's more updated.
