it's a problem here too because a band like Future Islands can sell out a Tuesday night show a month in advance.

Was getting my hair cut last week and "Season's Change" came over the speakers and I let out a Belly Laugh. My stylist said, "huh?" And I just said, "oh, it's just...nothing, never mind"

you should seriously move here and just reap all the benefits of being there but for $5 at the door

steve dave, I'm going to a concert in Omaha in July. I was super steamed that it wasn't in Omaha so we could PAK beforehand.

Downloaded "Singles" last week - Future Islands' newest album.  I like it, but it's pretty front loaded.  The second half of the album isn't so hot.  Still pretty good, though.  One gripe - and this isn't specific to Future Islands - is that it's hard to find bands that switch up their style.  Every song just sounds like a variation of the previous.

you are wrong on the 2nd half of the album. those songs just take a few listens to grow on you. All 5 of them are fantastic actually

I'm pretty sure Frightened Rabbit has been posted in here, but when I hear songs this good I just want to give up making music. Just not fair.

I was allowing my California bros to wake up and bump around the board a little bit before I got really butthurt about this, but am I the only person who loved Tevin Campbell in the 90's? I have never felt so alone on this board as I do now, SMDH. :bang:

Really? I thought it started strong with Seasons, then trailed off but pick up again around track 6

I was looking for this earlier    and I stumbled onto this   https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCen6wRpNkMPodqdqXNro_Jw

I mean how rough ridin' cool would this class be? These kids got a private concert from Jim James, Trampled by turtles, Hey Marseilles etc.

Did anyone else DL the new Drive By Trucker's album English Oceans?  It's pretty chill, I dig.

Check out the new Kishi Bashi album, friends. Wish I could have gotten to Middle of the Map to see him.

I really like when the guy that isn't Patterson Hood sings.

Haha, me too.   I feel like they gave him more songs than usual on this one.
