Was specific to the tiny desk but agree I’m not a super fan or anything. They are just good for that “venue” which I provide in depth reviews of here as is tradition

Saw American Aquarium last month in Fayetteville. It was a great show. Paid $100 for VIP Access which included acoustic set, Q&A, signed show poster and pic with band.

what can we say about chappell roan that already hasn’t been said in this thread?

well she certainly has a voice on her. i like that she reminds me of someone from the 1980’s, which is a period that’s very en vogue right now.. i don’t know anything about dan nigro but assume this is all his cultivation.

Getting tickets for Amyl and the Sniffers in KC will be a grand ole time. Will probably get MJ lenderman tickets as well since he is now playing the Truman but I am currently looking for someone to go with me.

imagine if Hit ‘Em Up or No Vaseline won a grammy. they wouldn’t because they weren’t nearly as quality as Not Like Us, but still it’s hard to put together what happened last night.

a diss track where the best rapper out there accuses a top of the charts entertainer/fake rapper of being a pedophile with everyone in the room and at home singing along, just won song, record, music video, rap song, of the year lol.

Listening to the new Isbell solo acoustic album today. A little underwhelming. The best song in my opinion, Gravelweed, is probably not a song you should record about a woman you have 9 year old kid with. He caught a lot of flack from Justin Townes Earle's widow with his last album that I didn't think was completely warranted but this album kind of indicates that he doesn't necessarily have compassion for people who he once had strong bonds with.
