Yes! I'm just a few years older and we've certainly seen some crap basketball.

Those late-90s Cat squads were barely ever on tv. So little, in fact, that I barely remember the teal Cat or the purple court.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

The weekend conference games were always on because the Raycom/Phillips 66 thing with Doug Bell was there, so at the very least every Big 8/12 school had a Saturday regional broadcast. The late Wooly years saw the start of the FSN deal and that was the start of seeing most games. We didn't get all games until the ESPN+ deal under oscar.
