K-State men’s basketball: no doubt Tang was the best hire we could have made at the time. Was it ultimately short sighted? Who knows, NIL has unequivocally changed the college athletics landscape in ways that everyone is still trying to figure out, but early indicators point to perhaps it wasn’t the best long term head coaching hire.
