Our neighborhood had a “coyote” problem in the past with pets turning up dead in their yards. I always found the explanation far fetched since we’re a solid mile+ from densely wooded areas but Haitian immigrants explains it perfectly.

coyotes dgaf about densely wooded areas especially at night and especially when there is soft ass house pet to munch.  I saw a coyote sitting watching traffic yesterday afternoon
