I had never listened to the dollop but I listened to those eps and man Hillbilly Elegy is wild when it's listed out like that. I read it and don't remember it being that wild (although I was pretty annoyed by Vance after reading it)

He definitely failed in that department. It seemed mostly strategic, but there was at least one awkward exchange where you could barely even figure out Walz was talking about Springfield because he was dancing around calling out Vance.
