I have zero clue how well cc is playing professionally.

But it was stupid to put Christian Laettner on the dream team because he was great in college.

If she’s not currently one of the best then no problem leaving her off.

Especially if the other girls don’t feel like she’s earned it.

I liked her response about how she's cool with it because she went straight from the NCAA run to playing professionally, and she's looking forward to some time off. I would feel the same way.

Agree, I thought she answered extremely well.

Even just saying that it gives her something to strive for yada yada.

All you need to know is the current #2 scorer in the league didn't make the team and all the snow roaches crying on social media and conservative media have no idea who she is. There are 5 Americans who average more PPG than Clark who didn't get selected. I actually hope she gets selected as an alternate, there are a couple of players on the roster who are injured, then doesn't play so all these shitheads can whine about that too.

Pretty interesting watch and goes in to enough detail to be interesting and a little more than a high level overview. I've been wanting to get my daughter's in to watching Clark highlights because she seems like a legit player and person. I didn't realize that she has purposefully avoided addressing the B's coming at her. Makes me like her more. Worth the watch to see how the league has made her the ******* child of the WNBA,all because she won't prostrate herself at the feet of blacks and gays.

ok it just got boring as hell after they said people were mad because she wasn't giving Paige Beucker's espy speech

although jason whitlock saying joining the wnba is more difficult for caitlin clark than it was for Jackie Robinson to integrate baseball was pretty great

Laettner was on it because they wanted 1 college player from the previous system on the first team with pros. They didn’t say “Laettner was so good in college we should add him.” They decided to pick 1 college player, then picked Laettner for that spot. (It was also probably some cover because there were 12 very likely NBA player that should have been on the team, but adding a college player cut it to 11 & allowed them to keep off Isiah Thomas.)
I got a guy on the other line about some white walls

I think there is a an army of bots on social media trying to use Caitlin Clark stuff to stoke the flames of civil war in the US. It is incredibly messed up.

I IRL appreciated this article (sorry if it is stuck behind a paywall at NYT):
