Not surprised Keegan is leaving. He never really got going due to injuries. Guessing he ends up on a low end P4 or mid tier G5 where expectations are low and he can thrive if healthy. Seems we’re going heavily after productive lower level WRs in the portal. I’m guessing we try to land a couple of those types and let our young guys battle with them for spots. I’m also expecting Cure to get a lot of run as a big receiver.

Always felt he was a pretty good player for us, despite injuries limiting his full potential. Typically gave good effort, even in the run game, while sacrificing targets.

Agree. Wish him the best wherever he ends up.

They need to change the portal opening for after bowl games.

They have to enroll in classes. The portal before bowl games is fine. Marshall mumped themselves by not extending a popular coach who has between Notre Dame and won the conference, all because they wanted a mid career assistant from West Virginia. I hope Marshall goes on an extended losing streak and the AD and president loses their jobs.

It is unfortunate for teams who make the playoffs.  Playoffs won't stop kids from entering the portal due to that semester enrollment deadline.  It's a flawed system.

Any promising OL?  It would be nice to see AJ get more time to find targets, and bigger holes to run through.

We lost our two starting OT's and probably our starting guards unless they get a waiver for an extra year.  Going to basically be a brand new OL next year.

While true, Kilty is/was the only OL that consistently performed well this year (shot at getting drafted as well).

Hopefully the stud o-linemen who were redshirting this year will be ready (with perhaps 1-2 portal transfers with experience brought in). Leingang would also presumably have an inside track on a starting guard spot as well.

Putting redshirt freshman into the starting spots next year seems like a really risky proposition.  Also means guys like Pastore aren't pretty much a complete whiff.

Certainly not ideal, but also speaks to this staff's ability (inability?) to recruit that position during the first 2-3 years of their run. I might be wrong, but I believe Kilty is the only o-lineman they've recruited to get 1st or 2nd team all-league honors during their entire tenure (Beebe, Leveston, Duffie, etc were all Snyder recruits).

There's some optimism that Poitier or Panzer or both, will get their waivers granted

Good size. Purdue roster listed him at 6’3” 214. Hard to tell much from his stats since Purdue blew something fierce this year.

Picked up 2 players today. LB from Ohio State. Kinda like the CB from OU, higher end recruit who hasn’t really got much playing time yet.

Also a S out of West Georgia. Played at Dodge City CC the year before that

Picked up an OL from USC, 3 years of eligibility left. Staff is getting some intriguing players and positions of need
