Edit: I only put words in anchors' mouths and I don't think she ever did anchor back then. Reporters write their own ins and outs.

Went to high school with her and has most classes together (IB etc etc). When I heard she was running for mayor I got very excited at the idea of being able to say “I’m friends with the mayor”

So, the#blueanongE hog flogging is over.  1 incumbent winning in a state where nearly 50% of those that register under a main stream party are Democrat, affirming infanticide in Ohio, winning seats in the Virginia legislature where the major population centers are deep blue including uber #blueanon (and complete whack-a-dooville) DC burb counties, home of the perma #blueanon Federal bureaucratic state and the major beneficiaries of a Democratic(Federal) executive branch that's going to be $2 trillion over budget this year.
