We play Texas after we play the Houston commuter school that should have never been invited into the Big 12.

Ewers is hurt. Hard to say if this is a good thing or bad thing, because his backup, Maaaalik Murphy, is big and fast. Luckily we get a week to watch how Sark uses Maaaaalik against BYU and build our dossier.

We wash away the stink of the Mizzou and OSU losses if we win this one, AND probably put ourselves in the Big 12 championship game again.

I expect to win (#12), and am not going to limit myself to merely thinking about Houston (#13).

Personally, I am overlooking Houston.

I'd be curious if UT tries to work in Arch Manning at all.  Once they know how long Ewers is out, I think they may consider him between having a week of prep and keeping an eye on the 4-game RS limit.

That was a home game for them and their super bowl. It's pretty crazy but they've only played 2 road games all year, a loss to rice and a blowout loss at Tech. We can play our D game and beat Houston by double digits at home.

That game was an A+ job by the B12 schedulers

Yep, literally the only thing the schedule makers did to give OU and UT even the least bit of resistance, then the referees took care of that by screwing Houston.

I'm still mad the big12 added Houston and will refuse to acknowledge that this is a conference game.

I think that we're getting some things figured out.  No one is new anymore, I expect us to handle Houston but not like tcu.

Smashing their taint in the last ever regular season UT vs KSU matchup would be absolutely glorious.

My best guess is that Sigle sketti brains Malik in the first Q and then Arch struggles in his first CFB game.

If Malik plays the whole game it will probably look something like this

I just watched ESPN Rapup show and they showed Okie St smoking UC and the Gun was interviewed after the game and was asked about the OU game next week.  He doesn't think they will be any different than any other Big XII team.  I think he'll be ready for them and may beat them.  If the Cats beat Texas next week and win the rest of the games, we may be playing OSU in the CCG.  That would be my dream game of the season. It not only would be a great matchup but also prove the Hateful 8 is better than what has been thought of them.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

Yes if we go undefeated the rest of the season we should be in pretty good shape

Also I did not realize that was sark who was the byu qb in the ‘96 cotton bowl. That was the first bowl game I went to as a youngster. And the ending sucked. It’s long time we get our revenge

If we can disrupt their RPO's and quick game to worthy to force them to make more drop back throws against mixed coverages I bet we can get 1 or 2 INT's and win.

I think we'll be able to move the ball against them and score 21-28 points.  concerned about getting pressure without sell out blitzes.

I'm just strangely confident about this game and the rest of the season. And I think the shorns are scared to death.

I'm worried that HCCK might have gotten bitten by the Lone Star Tick because he is clearly allergic to beef.

We’ll likely need to score a good deal of points, probably 30+
