It is a little rarer in college as only 6/10 all time are placekickers.

I didn't realize passing TD's don't count as points for the QB. It makes sense that it's the equivalent of an assist in basketball though. No big whoop, our guy just runs 5 in.

Iowa absolutely got screwed on the punt return for a TD at the end of the 4th. However, if you're a P5/4/3 team that holds an opponent to 12 points, and you needed that TD to win, then you didn't really deserve the win anyways.

That was a terrible call but all they needed was to get about 20 yards in 1:30 minutes to get in field goal range, they ran three plays on what should have been their game winning drive those three plays netted -7 yards and ended in an interception.

Man, I don't want to pick on the kid, he got absolutely massacred on a prominent sports show in the state last night, but look at the stat line of their current starting quarterback. What's even crazier is that the QB who won their bowl game last year is just sitting on the bench, not getting any time at all. It's almost like the Ferentz's are throwing games.
