I think michigan has mostly fans who didn't go to that school and couldn't go to that school, which I think is weird. Ohio state at least gives basic ohio'rs guaranteed entry to one of their versions of ksu-salina and the right to promote after a year, so maybe more fans with a reason to be fans.
