Do not wear in public. Strictly for mowing and work around the house, like what mich described.

What are ya’ll cargo short wearing dudes putting in your pockets? 99% of my life is lived with phone/wallet/keys.

My headphones case, a paper towel(allergy season and still a dad), and that is about this.  When I had small kids though, those things were like a Batman utility belt.

Used to have some back when a phone would fit in the 5th pocket.  Now, not for me, but do your thing.

There are shorts and pants that have the utility of cargo but without the floppy pocket and a narrower cut.  Check out Kuhl pants or Eddie Bauer guide pro shorts.  But if you guys say those are cargo, then I’m firmly pro cargo.  When hiking or traveling or whatever, I want my stuff securely zipped up.

Mountain over beach obviously.  And we’ve had this discussion in the travel or VQ THREAD.  Beaches on a mountain lake are primo.

question for the cargo shorts wearers:
do you guys always order the latest generation pocket hose or just stick with the one you have? Obviously I assume you have a pocket hose for every hose bibb at your home

How often do you wash jeans? Casual ones that haven’t suffered a spill. 1-3 times a year.

I used to wear jeans a couple of times before washing them but I pretty much wash them after wearing them once, now. I also only wear jeans a couple times a year.

Good wedge issue.

depends on how much sweat I get on them, sometimes one and done. Usually every 5-10 wears or so. I just wear levis so no biggie.

When attempting to make plans with a friend, is it acceptable to just say “hey are you free tomorrow night?” Or do you need to specify why you’re asking? “Hey are you free tomorrow? Wanted to go check out that new tapas place”

Feel free to answer from the POV of either the asker or the askee

I would go with the second as it provides more context.

Maybe I have plans tomorrow night but I do want to check out that tapas place and now I know you're interested as well.

In my younger days I’d probably be equally fine with either. Now if someone asks whether I’m free, my knee jerk response is “not sure, what did you have in mind?”
