If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

It's a solid resume, and honestly with the NuBig12 will get better not worse.

That being said, and btw, it's been a great year for new teams to experience the FF, but definitely a disappointing one overall for the Big 12 to just get 2 teams to the E8, 0 to the F4.

Guess it'll be fun to see FAU lose to UConn in the final

Disappointing would be getting blanked in the E8 or something. Obviously I would have liked to see a Big 12 team in the FF, but this year has just been weird. I’ve got two work related brackets and between the two of them there are maybe 5 people in 100 who can even still get points. Completely unpredictable.

Baylor is nuts. Scott Drew is absolutely basketball LHC Bill Snyder. Drew actually finished the job, but we all know it's much easier on basketball.

I was gonna say our S16 record was impressive and then I saw Baylor's and OSU's. Wow!

Huggs was the coach who took them to the F4 in 1992, correct?

Yes, led by Nick Van Exel. They were like the early Snyder DOD teams of stud juco transfers. Herb Jones, Anthony Buford. Corey Blount was a good reserve who would dominate the following season and reach the NBA like Van Exel.

This list has a very notable omission.

speaking of Martins at UC, Cincy probably wins in 2000 if Kenyon Martin does not break his leg in the conference tournament.

Those Cincinnati teams were so much fun.  I probably followed them as much as the Cats when Huggins was there.  DeMarr Johnson was on that team as well, and is an assistant coach at WVU this year.

Kenyon Martin. I did not mean to imply he was on that team in particular. Wasn't Blount from like the Garden City juco or was it Butler?

Corey Blount was from some juco in cali (iirc).  Ruben Patterson went to Indy CC though
