It's worth mentioning that Frank has been weighing the decision heavily, and 2-3 particular team leaders were also consulted a long time ago. Frank considering booting Dom doesn't have anything to do with his game. A four letter word and an injury were mentioned. It has mostly to do (this part is speculation) with Frank wanting to make sure he doesn't sacrifice his coaching mantra and set any bad examples.

So, take that fwiw until we hear about the if/when part.

i'm still hoping it doesn't happen, but if it does then all will admit that you knew a month or two ago.

He was telling people he fell at spring game.  Of course that is what I tell people when my crack dealer breaks my hand for not paying him.  Could be something worse, but it is either a cover or he fell.  It was not an in-season injury.

Maybe someone got their scholly pulled, but isn't kicked off the team or out of school?   

I mean, Frank's statement implies that someone isn't getting a basketball scholarship or we are lying to the transfer kid....and I don't think we are lying to him.

I don't see to many guys on the team who are candidates for academic scholarships, 'cause those are hard for players to get (NCAA scrutiny is high on that).


So, maybe a player mumped up and is simply happy that he isn't kicked off?  Perhaps a 3rd year starter who acknowledges that he has made mistakes and is happy footing his own bill and finishing out his career with his peeps?  I have no knowledge, just speculating here.

I love, LOVE how Frank still points out that he was a math teacher. It's as if it's 1932 and he is still expected to pull his weight as a professor on campus. To ask him, you'd think he was getting paid millions of dollars a year to teach algebra and the coaching thing is just a something he does on the side.
