Didn't deserve to win, probably would have been bad for the team had they pulled it out. Until this team starts valuing the ball, it is a bad team that likely will finish sixth or seventh in the conference. Nowell has become a liability on half our offense possessions.

This team's refusal to reverse the basketball in the half court offense is its Achilles heel. It forces drives, passes, low-percentage shots and leads to turnovers, because the defense isn't forced to defend side-to-side and loosen up a bit. We're always trying to score of the first or second action and Big 12 defenses and coaches are shutting us down repeatedly and often making us look foolish.

I don't think I will relax. Neither the team nor Nowell is showing the ability to overcome turnovers. Inexcusable. We can't run half-court offense without turning the ball over, so we try to be up-tempo and turn the ball over.

It’s fine to be upset. We just lost to the worst team in the conference, and looked like white hot dogshit in the process. And on top of that we really haven’t been playing so great the last couple weeks. If this isn’ta completely reasonable time to be frustrated then I don’t know what is

The reactions by KSU fans to last nights game has been, honestly, troubling. To those who have flocked to a ksu sports message board and expressed frustration…stop being so incredibly weird. Do the normal thing and infiltrate the athletic staff so that you can either run practice yourself or get the coaches responsible fired. Ideally, just take over the role of AD so you can clean house wherever necessary.

But this whole flocking to a message board and expressing frustration instead of immediately getting over it and moving on…it had to stop.

On the one hand, it’s hard to imagine we’ll make a deep tourney run this year if we can’t pull out games like last night.

On the other hand, good on Tang for raising the bar so much that games like that hurt as much as they do.

Quis and KJ need special coaching help to recognize and mitigate the double teams. The turnovers are largely coming from those situations.
