Apparently president Linton is NOT wanting him to play...thus holding things up.

If the story about him beating up a girl is true, I'd like him off the team. Pretty hard to believe that story is true without an arrest and criminal charges, though.

Don't think we are ever going to know with certainty what happened.  Certainly sounds like the relationship between basketball staff and Linton has come to a head.

yeah, this is my thing too. Tang would know and I can't imagine he would still having him hanging around. Plus, he would have been charged by now. Who freaking knows, but leave it up to us to hire a John Currie clone as president. I'm so sick of these righteous assholes. I'm not even saying I want a dirty ass program, (honestly that would be pretty cool though), but these pricks meddling in these issues has to stop.

Don't disagree.  But the question was what mechanism the president had to control the suspension, and that's likely it.

Initially I would have agreed it's over the top, but I think the situation has taken a significant turn for the worse. Hopefully Dick Lint comes to his senses.
