DBT did you horns down and lick tears all the way out of the arena?
Yes after my hands were very bruised from high fiving all the other cat fans as mentioned above.

i would love nothing more than to put up 200 when the longhorns come to manhattan in a month, then they can go play in the sec with that tattooed on their ass.  i think this should be our goal.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

If it’s the same clock operator as tonight, very non-zero chance this legit happens

Tang is so impressive. Postgame he tells Wyatt how many paint touches we had in the opening minutes. Just drops the amount and the number of minutes -- just a steel trap of a game memory. You know Drew not having that asset sitting at his side as to hurt.
And dropping into the 3-2 zone to stop the Horns from driving was a masterstroke, and Tomlin with i length at the point of that defense is a menace.

if only oscar memorized a few stats, he'd have the fanbase in the palm of his hands. and playing zone to stop drives, masterful stuff.

This team is great at the free throw line. So refreshing for once.

FG% = 60
3pt% = 54

Hard to choose which was the best out of all of those.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

We probably won't shoot that good again this year, but it was a true delight to have it happen on the road at Texas.

Likely the 3rd best conference road win since Huggins took over.  1 and 3 on the list are at UT :)

Thought it was hilarious that the announcers acknowledged that Tang was trying to get the cats players to refrain from doing the horns down. Very next shot was Keyontae doing the horns down right at a K-state media camera   :D

I love Tomlin and he’s going to have a great NBA career, but bringing up his defense might be the most lol thing zifried could be geeked out about. He broke down on 4 straight possessions last night, for easy buckets for Texas when they we’re making their runs. It’s by far the #1 thing he needs to work at for the next level. Everything else is entertaining as crap!

Great win

LMAO at Stan saying Mass played good in the postgame.

The score climbed because refs wouldn’t stop calling every little touch.

As usual weaver's reading comprehension skills suck. I was praising Tang's decision to drop into the zone, which gave us about the only stops we had in the last 10 minutes of the game and reestablished a comfortable cushion. Anybody who remembers Hartman's effective 3-2 zone, of which I'm likely the only one on this board, will remember how guys like Jari Wills covered so much space at the point and how with his length Tomlin has the same assets at the point. smh

Anyway, during postgame Tang said the No. 1 thing the team needed to work on was stopping the ball.

Yes, we need to do a better job of stopping the ball, and at one point had 3 guys guarding one dude way out top while they just lobbed over the top for an easy layup to a dude with nobody within 10 feet of him.

But, I also thought the refs got extremely ticky-tack in their favor going down the stretch, which extended the game, and thus the score.  Thus, I feel our on ball defense was altered by the whistle and thus, the 3-2 zone was a good move.

For real, and you can teach off ball defense. You can’t teach 6’10” w/ 7’3” wingspan, guard handles and can jump out of the gym.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.
