Getting your QB's cage rattled before asking him to convert 4th and 10 seems like not a great call from the Baylor OC.

Playcalling needs to be exceptional the next few drives if we want to get out with a W imo.

Yeah, I feel like Klein is a whole lot more comfortable calling plays that utilize Howard than Martinez.
Martinez has looked sharp as well but to this casual football observer it sure seemed like all the called passes were for no more than like 5 yards downfield.

Well, we aren't calling 5 yard routes. Martinez just doesn't go down field.

I think that will howard is much more of a “field general” than martinez, do you agree?

Have you considered that the coaches are holding martinez back?

Ok I mean I have no clue who the first read is supposed to be on those plays but yes regardless there was always like a 5 yard option available and that’s the one he took.

I think Sinnott going up and getting that like some shifty X receiver is the highlight of that play.

Based on the posts you’ve made our success when Howard comes into the game is entirely due to everyone on planet earth but Howard

What was Baylor thinking on that 4th down. I like aggressive go for it on fourth but that was dumb.

Based on your posts you are just looking for something to hurt your feelings.

I said Howard had an incredible arm when he squeezed in that first TD pass into triple coverage. (And on replay it didn’t look like quite as crazy of a decision but still a tight window.)

Yes, and AGAIN. They run the QB right before trying to pass for a big conversion.

Howard is the best QB we have had since Klein, and might actually be better.
