Guys it seems there is some confusion about this thread.  It's not a debate, there is no debate, it's John Lithgow. I guess you can name other actors if you want, just know that they are not The Most Underrated Actor Of Our Time.

I'm watching Midnight Run right now and I'm beginning to think Joe Pantoliano is in this category. I watched The Fugitive last weekend and noticed him there, too. He's in so many amazing movies. He had to know somebody.
