I don't want him running unless absolutely required. Add the biscuits. He needs to be 205 next year.

Doesn't really matter, since you guys got Thrill Howard back this season.

Given this offense and our luck? We need as many irons in the fire as possible

Yea we pretty much never have a QB play the full season, I hope Rubley is ready.

If Howard can't make it through a full season without geting injured then I don't see one of our QBs ever doing it.  He's 6'5"/235 playing behind would could be the best O-line in the country and he and our OC have a throw-first mentality.  I think we'll still see 3-5 designed QB runs a game, but he won't be put a risk on a frequent basis.

I’ve got faith in Rubley if called upon. CK has a pretty great track record of developing QBs.

He certainly has done a good job with Will, but I hardly call that a "track record". Now if Rubley has taken a significant step forward this year I would agree with that statement.

Kleiman has coached I think 4 NFL QBs already. It is absolutely a track record and a pretty incredible one.

Apologies. I took that as Collin Klein.

O line will be good, but they definitely won't be the best in the country.

I do have faith that Will can stay healthy. Appears we've mostly gotten away from the QB battering ram offense.

If they do have designed plays for him to run, I hope it's to run like a QB and not like a running back.  The "old ball coach"Steve Spurrier of South Carolina would pull a QB if they didn't slide when he had to run.  He was also pulling a QB if he trained eyes on his reciever during the play.  And if anybody knew about QBing it was Spurrier.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.
