Yeah, pretty close of 2016.
Dems seem to have no answers up top but in state question items seem to have the right disposition (see MO on abortion and minimum wage) but I think the stigma of inflation and the general fear over culture war (which I'm basically lumping dei, schools) and immigration seems to have been impossible to distance from.
It was a little my worry seeing the exit poll saying trump would do better for the economy, which if he gets his way will be a disaster, but that's just how inflation was I think the iron weight.
Also just the low energy, clearly the lack of trump signs was not apathy but silence. Also it just never felt even with the switch Kamala had/could bring enough.
Also a bit lol at some people being claiming to be shocked online. Has the last 8 years not taught you anything? I'm not shocked, I am disappointed, and also curious what the play will be for both in 2028. Cause if they do basically implement many of what they want it'll be a wrecked economy, again, and a more disillusioned country but it's what the people wanted!
