Imagine being so simple, that you don't know or understand that various think tanks and government entities (particularly the military and intelligence agencies) have been thinking about, researching, analyzing and writing about hundreds of thousands of ideas, many of them absolutely insane . . . and the vast majority of them never-ever become reality.

Yet somehow, in the simple mush brained world of #blueanon.  Project 2025 will be implemented fully on day one if Trump is elected.

It's astonishing, but absolutely indicative of how easily #blueanon rank and file can be manipulated.

or maybe he just loses and no worries about gay frog orgies about Day 1 or day 500

Can you imagine how bonkers people would go if Harris's campaign jacked around at Arlington Cemetery

Dax posted like 70 times about a 30 year old lesson plan.

I can only imagine what they would do with this

it's like their entire campaign and everything they do starts out with "you know what would be a horribly shitty idea?" and then they do it.

They know it's effective with the cult. On almost every tweet about this there is at least one brain dead dumb dumb that says, "yeah but, at least he showed up".

"let's do something horrible. and let's make it real inauthentic too!"

Trump said the Medal of Honor was a bad award because most of the people had bullet holes in them. Feel free to look at the polling but Trump will win enlisted and veterans.

I think there is ample evidence that Trump followers know and accept that he thinks they are beneath him. They either think they deserve to be humiliated and made fun of or they will make excuses for it.

Its this. Years and years of propaganda have taught them that no matter what, the other guy is worse.

There are two cults currently operating and vying for control.

One, MAGA/Trumpism, is a cult of personality.

The other, The Democratic Party (and yes, Dax is correct in calling them the Neocons/neolibs), is a cult of the machine.

There is a lot up for grabs. The unipolar world order we’ve lived under since the fall of the USSR is in play. The result could be more unipolarity, bipolarity or multipolarity.

 :frown:

Just as a reminder, this is what cult-like thinking looks like. Nearly 80% of Republicans think the election was rigged. Legitimate brain rot.

Edit: forgot to include the image, lol

yeah, I have years of trying to figure out some people's position on these things and I came to terms with the fact that an absolutely huge portion of our population would rather do this "both sides bad" stuff than looking at the actual "bad stuff" and make an informed decision. obviously the conspiracy stuff is addictive to a lot of people. I'm not dunking on nicname here, it's very prevalent in our society and maybe I'm wrong on some of this stuff, it's just that the evidence says I'm not. the most lmao thing about this election is that the "outsiders" they both sides with are a billionaire, an objectively weird author/venture capitalist, a kennedy, and a conspiracy theorist in Tulsi (not to discount the kennedy's even wilder conspiracy theories it's just that it's a kennedy outshines it hilariously). I just don't get it. I love America though, so I'm pressing on.

I get it, it's definitely frustrating that the democrats are controlled by corporations too. Trump is a different animal though and trying to equate him to "both sides bad" is just ridiculous.

the "my side" is also so horribly ingrained. "I am a pub/dem regardless of actual positions or merit" is very prevalent. Both sides. Kansas farmers are still very much that way because they are either (or both) A) scared of different people/cultures and/or B) engrained with the idea that republicans are better for farmers because of the "farm bill". I can't help them with A (I've tried) but the evidence is so far anti to B, but they were raised that way and by god that's their belief. and if you want to claim I'm wrong on A I have too many thousands of data points to even allow that "discussion". That's not to be a broad brush though, it's just a ratio. I know plenty of very open minded and intelligent farm/ranch families that will see what's best for the community and their chilren's future. and that doesn't mean voting one side, it means doing what's best.

it comes from their belief that these assistance programs go to big cities, illegal immigrants, or other communities other than their own. where in reality it benefits their own community generally and is universally an important thing objectively (if you aren't a huge POS as a disclaimer). tax dollars go to barely over $100b for SNAP. it's the best return on our investment we make, in my opinion. I don't care which kid gets to eat though, so I'm maybe an outlier.
