Too early to start the Harris Presidency thread or nah?
I think it is too early!

If the basketball team loses to New Orleans tonight, we’ll know.

A very large portion of Republicans, MAGA and non-MAGA, are afraid that the US will no longer (in their own minds) continue to be a white, Christian nation.

Some feel this is a threat to their own, personal way of life. Some feel that this is a threat to the success/dominance/wealth of the US. Some explicitly say that this issue trumps democracy.

totally non-scientific observation from pretty extensive trick or treating in the wealthiest parts of JOCO - the suburbs are going to bring it home for harris on election day.  The yard sign ratio is 10-1
Manhattan looks the same way. Only problem is you still see plenty of Brad Starnes signs. Everywhere you see a Starnes sign lurks a Trump voter, just too embarrassed to put up a Trump sign.
Not sure what it means but there are way less Trump signs around town this year. No Trump truck parades this year. A few halfhearted posts about turning the clock back to when gas was $1.87. Maybe everyone is just tired.

Wouldn’t the biden interim thread just continue on?

Yeah one thing to note on fewer trump signs would be down ticket pubs in yard and no trump signs

Don't know if that means general anti trump feeling or just quiet voting for him. If you do that in KC I feel it goes from 10-1 to like 5 to 2 for Harris.

Also off topic, been in NM and SW Colorado the last few days. She is going to win NM by double digits. Only trump signs are in oil areas, and even there it's like 3-1 him. ABQ very Harris, all reservations we passed through Harris.

Colorado had some sneaky trump (non trump signs just down ticket pubs) but it's very Harris. Like 3 to 1.

Should I run for president?  I think I'd do a pretty good job, but with two young children it would be difficult.

Maga will control the party until he dies. If he's alive in '28 I don't see any reason he wouldn't be the nominee again even if he won tomorrow.
If he’s alive, he’ll do everything within his power to run again in 2028 regardless of what happens today.

What’s the scariest thing in your opinion?

My MAGA western KS relatives would say uppity minorities.  Second scariest is 0.000001% of the population of women having to use the bathroom/locker room next to someone with a dong wearing a dress.

Is anyone actually pro Harris or just anti trump?

I’d guess that women and racial minorities are inclined to be pro-Harris more than white men (and the polling seems to support this).  Having said that, there sure seems to be lot of anti-Trump voters, and I think it’s telling that so many life long republicans are openly anti-Trump….don’t really see that with Harris.

Yeah, that's definitely I think the vibe.

My only very informal polling of yard signs is missing Las Cruces and Santa Fe. But is imagine Santa Fe is very Harris. Las Cruces would be most interesting, as it and El Paso would super tell the Latino vibe

Harris is a clear improvement over Biden and Trump is hopefully going to end up being the worst president of my lifetime.

Hopefully this is the last speech we ever hear from this bronze-faced freak. Why does he hate America so much? Just leave us alone.

Same. I just said this to someone. If he loses, I don't even care if he goes to jail or gets fined or whatever. I just don't want to hear or have to worry about his crazy ass comments/ideas anymore. Let's hope this is the case.

He will have exceeded his usefulness if he loses this time. Again, zero people outside of his family and the idiots that vote for him have any interest in dealing with him unless they can make money off of him. If he isn't and/or can't be president anymore, that last part declines significantly.
