If he enacts the Project 2025 stuff he could probably get back that lost income. They want to gut federal agencies. Could be some silver lining to that in the long run, but many people could be hurt by that in the near term.

Yeah, best case scenario they respond quickly in restoring things that prove to be too painful. Worst case, they re-shape American culture for the worse (e.g litter, literacy, morbidity, incarceration rates, etc)

How would you resolve such a large deficit AND keep an active military support of Israel going if you were Trump? War between Israel and Iran would cost way more than our dabbling in Ukraine. He’s in favor of more aggression. He’s also in favor of even more tax cuts for the wealthy. How will he fund all of that?
