I know a couple that might be "my mom" specific but also I think I've heard it from other midwesterners:

saying "anxious" when they mean "excited/happy"

Making "divorce" a 4 syllable word "di-vor-ice-ah". (I think this one is just my mom)

true story when I was like 5 I told my aunt from colorado that she was pronouncing "warsh" wrong (because she was saying "wash"). I like argued and everything when she told me I was wrong :lol:
