This was all MiegeCat. Bear and I have wanted to do something like this for a while, but neither of us are organized enough to get it done. HUGE shoutout to our guy Kent. He’s pretty pak’d right now but it sounds like we raised a lot of money. Brady was the man, the absolute best of us.

For a minute there I thought Miege Cat was going to get choked out over a Power Rangers dispute.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

He did a great job overall but totally butchered that question. I'm surprised winters didn't use his finishing wrestling move on him.

I didn't know anything about the question or answers to be confidently choking anyone.

That was fun. A fitting tribute to a man we can all look toward for how to be in life.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

what was the final question and answer

Something to the effect of "What are the 5 Boulevard beers that have always been available in bottles and cans"

1. Wheat
2. Pale ale
3. tank 7
4. kc pils
5. THE CALLING

Bear threw out the calling as the final beer but we made the fatal error of fighting mother nature and put down single wide instead of THE CALLING.  :Crybaby:

From Miegecat - well done everyone:

One last check in to give everyone an update on the donation now that we are back from Mexico and able to sort through it all. Here are the final numbers

$1,720 raised from the event itself
$338 in excess cash donations at the event
$830 donated via Venmo from people that could not make it

TOTAL of $2,888 raised! This is not even including what we raised on the Topeka Community Foundation website directly.

Thank you all so much for attending and making the event so successful. And an extra special thank you to Gayle and Brian for putting such great prizes together.

What a tremendous way to honor Brady and all of the wonderful relationships he built with all of us. Hope to see you all again down the road sometime.

Just stumbled upon this thread and couldn't resist joining in. That Metalhead Fund Trivia Event sounds like an absolute blast! Nothing like some brain-teasing questions to get the gears turning, right? And oh my, the image of a heated Power Rangers debate almost turning into a WWE match cracked me up!  It's amazing how passionate we can get about the things we love. Speaking of passions, I've heard Downtown LA Live Event Production Services are the real deal, especially the Sound Experts of Downtown LA – they've got the auditory magic to make any event unforgettable! Have any of you experienced their expertise firsthand?

Absolutely agree! The Metalhead Fund Trivia Event sounds like a fantastic way to challenge our knowledge and have a great time. Passionate debates, whether about Power Rangers or anything else, can indeed lead to some hilarious and unexpected moments. It's wonderful how our passions can bring us together in such engaging ways.

Recently found an awesome money game that lets you win real money
« Reply #98 on: May 18, 2025, 12:26:55 PM »
Lately, I was searching for ways to make some side income without needing to do much.
I wasn’t expecting much, to be honest — just wanted to see if any of those “play games for money” things actually work.

After reading through a bunch of Reddit threads, I ran into a well-written page on a site that talks about APK games for Android that supposedly let you earn real money.
At first I thought it was the usual affiliate thing, but I gave it a try anyway.

The article was surprisingly clear. It didn’t promise crazy payouts or instant money, but it explained how the games work and what to expect.
Some games are like crash-style arcade games, some are basic casino-style apps, and a few are built around predictions and decisions.

What I liked most is that they referenced a project called End Gamers, which seems to be the original source where you can download those APK files directly.
But the site I found had reviews, bonuses explained, and even some basic walkthroughs for each game — much easier to navigate than jumping blind into unknown APKs.

Here’s the article where I got most of the info from (they mention EndGamers inside): http://forum.salemthegame.com/viewtopic.php?p=6433

A few things that stood out:

- The APKs listed are free and clean. I checked them with VirusTotal just in case, and they came back clean.
- They don’t require any weird permissions, unlike many sketchy apps.
- You don’t need to invest a lot. A few games start with demo balance or bonuses for first-time players.
- Some of them do actual payouts via PayPal or crypto. I haven’t withdrawn yet, but the process seems transparent.
- Most of the games are in English, but some have multi-language support built in.

I installed two games from the list and tested them out for a few days. The results weren’t life-changing, obviously, but one of them actually credited my account with a few bucks after a couple of hours of gameplay.
No forced ads, no “complete surveys to continue” stuff. Just a normal game with a twist — you can actually win small amounts.

Also, what surprised me: one of the apps gave me a 500% bonus on the first top-up, and I got free spins too. That was not mentioned clearly on the main APK hub, but the review site broke it all down.

Not every game is worth the time, but if you’re curious and have a few minutes to spare — it might be fun to test one or two.
At least this guide felt more legit than most of what I’ve seen online lately.

I’d be curious to hear if anyone else here tried these kinds of apps or knows better ones.
Let me know if you find something better.
