After watching that game, I feel really bad for Pack and Smith. It was 2 on 5 for the most part.

The staff mumped this up badly. Bradford got way too many minutes. Linguard was the best of the three, by far. Ez was okay but he messed up one rotation and oscar freaked out and pulled him and never put him back in.

I watch a lot of Big 12 basketball and Bradford, Massoud, and McGuirl are 109% the three worst players in the conference that gets regular minutes. I didn't even mention Luke. He's now 10-36 from 3 this season and 15-63 for his career. Brutal. We have three of the best players in the league, the rest are just terrible, horrible. The only other player on the roster who's even above replacement value, is hurt. I hate talking so poorly about college students, but a majority of this roster aren't big 12 quality players. This year is so crazy similar to Wooly's last year, but his team was deeper than this one.

oscar will get fired, Nijel will transfer, Mark will graduate, and Marquis is stuck here, if he doesn't graduate, for his super senior season.

KT Turner will certainly have playing time to sell when he arrives on campus in March

it really was baffling how we were doing good with linguard in there, and then didn't play him the second half. at least he has a shot that the defense has to respect.

losing mark smith will really hurt next year. doesn't seem like anybody else would fill his shoes, although we'll have another 2-3 open spots for transfers again. it's not the end of the world if oscar and nijel stays, but if it were up to me, blow it up and start fresh. maybe nijel sticks around anyways since it's risky to leave a good situation (for him), and with transfers, a new coach can come in and start winning quickly.

I think his injury last year changed him athletically to the point he can’t really do much of anything a good basketball player should do.

Pack is just so good. Best player we've had since Beasley? Probably controversial, but I think he has a strong case.

He's not better than Jacob Pullen. Pack is a better shooter but Pullen was more versatile and a significantly better defender. Claws was better too, but Nijel is more reliable.
