Just more proof that our military - industrial complex is full of grifters and con artists.

After 60 Minutes and many others have documented numerous hundreds of billions of dollars (collectively trillions) of weapons systems that don't work and were huge mistakes. They're sending B-1's to mothballs, they're sending a whole block of F-22's to the boneyard because it will cost more to upgrade them then they're worth, the F-35 needs a new engine because the one they have overheats, an entire line of Navy ships sucks absolute ass , they're looking to re-engine a 70 year old bomber so it can fly until it's 100, and there's such a gap in capabilities with 5 gen jets the Air Force is buying new F-15's - which first rolled off the assembly line in the 70's etc. etc. etc.

Now there was apparently no replacement for the Stinger and apparently no capacity of any kind to build new one's, and apparently no one around with the brains to do it.

Sadly, there's giant derps on this board who believe the military-industrial complex needs even more money.
