$40 billion dollars in support (and counting) from NATO, and in parts of Ukraine, the Russians are still taking territory (but #neocongE doesn't pay attention to that).

$40 billion, that's almost as much as South Korea spends in an entire year for their entire military. 

People like #slowdug are just used to seeing the U.S. fight guys in old Toyota's with a few AK's and some RPG's.  The U.S. hasn't fought against a military getting this kind of assistance in over a half a century, and in reality, it's been over 80 years.

I don't think Ukraine has anything to do or any similarities to Afghanistan.  If anything, The Taliban resurgance in Afghanistan showed why we stayed for so long.

I will admit I’m relatively uninformed on war issues. The only sources I even follow are Russian, and those sources said they expected to have total control of Ukraine like a year ago. So I’m gonna say it seems like a pretty big failure, imo.
